| The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the volunteer, civilian, non-military arm Of the U.S. Coast Guard. Auxiliarists assist the Coast Guard in non-law enforcement programs such as boating-safety classes, vessel safety checks, safety patrols, search and rescue, marine environmental protection, aids to navigation, watch standing, recruiting, and Coast Guard Academy introduction programs for youth. | |
